There is something going on with the roof AGAIN today. This time there is a new dish getting installed. This one is so we can get HD. This will make the Tall Man happy. But I already make the Tall Man happy. He's trying to convince the Lap Lady that I love him more than I love her. Well that isn't true but I do love him a lot. He gives such great body massages! Plus, since he's home with the satellite guy today I can sit in his lap and purr all day long.
Do you see what my humans do to torture me? I mean really, a dowel on my belly? How was that going to be comfy for me? Sure I was purring because I was getting touched and attention but how did the TM expect me to stay like that? He's crazy. Crazy fun though!!
HRH Yao-lin wants to know where I got my name. Well, Moncoeur is the name of my cattery. I was called Thing 2 with my brother who was Thing 1 at my breeder's house. We hung around a bit longer than most when our first home had an accident and they couldn't take us. I was supposed to go with my brother who I adored but the LL and TM could only do one other cat but Thing 1 really charmed the TM and he did consider him....
The LL thought about my name ahead of meeting me. She talked to my breeder about my personality and decided she wanted a pretty Oriental name for me. She opened up one of her history books from WWII. She looked for pretty names and came across kaze which means "the wind". Kami-kaze means divine wind but she didn't want to name me that.
My middle name is actually Kaze. My full name is Moncoeur's Kaze so I guess that means my middle name is my regular name. Bonnie tagged the three of us while we were away!
K- Kind. I am very kind and I purr and purr and purr and snuggle and purr some more. I would never ever do anything to be mean to anyone but I do like to play hard with other cats.
A- Active. Yup, that's me, I never take a break. I want to play all of the time and if the Lap Lady won't play with me I find Latte or Chase to tackle. I don't really sleep much, I mostly just run around and have fun.
Z- Zippy. That is the nick name the LL calls me a lot. She says its because everywhere I go I run and its always with lots of speedy and ease at the same time. She also calls me zip-zee and I like to talk to her when she calls me that.
E- Extreme. Everything I do is to the max. Whether it is purring or playing or snuggling or meowing- its all as extreme as possible. Even my body type is extreme with my lithe body and big ears I am not your typical cat at all.
I know you all said I wouldn't have anything removed when the Lap Lady returned but I think you were wrong. She made the Tall Man hold me down and she removed my "daggers". I had sharpened them so much while she was away that they were really great weapons and grappling hooks. I was using them to dig in for really good shoulder rides and she said "enough!". So now my claws are clipped. I hate short claws. Actually I hate the clipping of claws.....
I really love this new bed spread. its great! Ugh, I'm so tired all of the time. I'm so sorry its taking us a while to get around to everyone's blogs but the Lap Lady has been really busy with work and Snap. We miss all of you and we hope to be up to our normal habits soon. We've noticed we're not the only ones getting around as much as we would like. Stupid busy beans!
I hear those red boxes are coming out in 2 weeks! This does not sound good as its probably that yearly 1 week they take away from us.

I call this my Pin-Up pose because I'm hiding the naughty regions while showing a little bit of my flirty side. I like my belly rubbed, it feels nice. I also like my belly kissed- it makes me purr. Purrrr........just thinking about it makes me purr!
Plus you get the bonus of my front paw. Don't worry, I'm not giving the camera the finger, I'm more waving hello. I'm a friendly cat, not one of those Dirty Girls Mao is off searching for. I really hope he wises up soon. I'm a good girlfriend cat and I think I've been pretty tolerant.

And here are my toes. I have a little bit of a bad habit and I bite my claws. I guess I just get obsessed with them being clean, or they just annoy me, but I find myself chewing on the CONSTANTLY. The Lap Lady says this isn't a pretty habit for a dainty lady but its not something I can stop.
