Toesday

_MG_8456

Do you see the indignity of my clawrs? They've been clipped.  I don't know about you but I can't stand to have my claws clipped.  I find it very disturbing and scary.  It takes two people to get the task complete.  The Tall man holds me and my Lap Lady comes at me with the clippy things.  I always try to purr my way out if it but to no avail.  Squirming helps but still doesn't seem to work.

Snap said she will try to blog more.  She told me to tell everyone that when my LL went out to ride her (she even left work early) she had pulled half of her shoe off and therefore was limping.  I have to say, Snap has the best advice for annoying humans.

Prizes and Toesday

Last week there was a strange package on our front steps. It was a super windy day so I was worried it might blow away before my LL came home. It almost did! It came all the way from Ruis in the Netherlands! It was my prize for donating to the Cat Blogosphere last month that Opus and Roscoe sponsored. Inside were the cool (the LL promises me she will frame them) cat post cards! Oh, and toys for me and chocolates in the shape of mice! The LL tried to understand the packaging but apparently after beans leave collij they forget everything, especially foreign languages. I won't torture you with the sounds she made trying to figure out the French (she took French "One"....THREE times because she'd get an "A"). Needless to say she stopped trying.

Oh and it is Toesday, don't forget my tiny fawn colored toes!

Toesday

See my fantastic grippy toes and claws? These are what I use when I'm surfing. I have lots more pictures of me surfing but I'll save those for another day. Today I wanted to show you one of the most important parts of surfing. You must have very flexible toes and claws that know when to dig in and not. Sometimes you just need a little toe action and other times you'll need to DIG in hard. Make sure your claws are nice and sharp!

Tummy & Toesday

Here you can see my adorable spotted tummy AND my soft paws. (Click to biggify, our new camera takes GINORMOUS pictures that blogger likes to size down.) I call this my Pin-Up pose because I'm hiding the naughty regions while showing a little bit of my flirty side. I like my belly rubbed, it feels nice. I also like my belly kissed- it makes me purr. Purrrr........just thinking about it makes me purr!

La toilette Toesday

See my toes? They are not soaking wet but they almost were. You see, the Lap Lady knows better than to close the door on us in the human litterbox room. I usually go in for a few pets and when she has finished and put the lid down I jump up there for another pet.

The other day she was going in to do her business. She put the seat up (the lid is always down), turned to talk to the Tall Man and turned around for quite a shock: me flying through the air with the greatest of ease! She stupidly doubted my abilities because my back paws gripped the back of the seat as my front paws held the back of the tank. Crisis averted. It was a close call but my feet did not touch that icky water.

Tummy & Toes Tuesday

I found that I haven't done a tummy or toesday in a long time. The Lap Lady helped me pose (OK she rolled me over and I purred because she was touching me). You can see the front butt is coming back a little bit (yeah!) and of course my adorable belly spots. I think I'm part tigger!! Or Leopard or something. I guess I would have to be a snow leopard?

Plus you get the bonus of my front paw. Don't worry, I'm not giving the camera the finger, I'm more waving hello. I'm a friendly cat, not one of those Dirty Girls Mao is off searching for. I really hope he wises up soon. I'm a good girlfriend cat and I think I've been pretty tolerant.

Toesday

Do you think I need some moisturizer for my paw pads? Don't they look a little dry? Maybe its the dry air we've been having in this never ending Winter season. I've been telling the Lap Lady I need a real nice pawdicure but all she does is clip my claws. I try to keep up on them myself by gnawing on them. I think it keeps them looking nice but the LL says its not lady-like to chew on your nails, especially your toe-nails.

Tummy & Toes

Here's my tummy! Its pink and squishy.

And here are my toes. I have a little bit of a bad habit and I bite my claws. I guess I just get obsessed with them being clean, or they just annoy me, but I find myself chewing on the CONSTANTLY. The Lap Lady says this isn't a pretty habit for a dainty lady but its not something I can stop.

Toesday

Don't my claws look fierce? Yeah...I thought so! Sigh...that was before they got clipped so now they're just nubs so I can't do velcro kitty to the rug anymore. Part of the reason they got clipped had to do with me leaping up on the couch in stealth mode and my front paw and a claw "accidentally" landing on the Lap Lady's eyeball and my claw may or may not have actually scratched her eyeball...She seems fine now and that's all that matters, right?

As you can see, I have dark paw pads even though I'm a lighter colored kitty and my nose is mostly pink (I'll be posting that later this week). The Lap Lady had me in her lap so she was taking all sorts of close up glamor shots.

The Cat Gym is still open! & Toesday

Here are my toes, sometimes they are really itchy.

Well....I don't think its supposed to be but it is. Whenever I hear the Lap Lady coming up the stairs I'm sure to get out and look "innocent". It took her about a day to wonder where Latte was when I was just standing there. Then she looked under the bed....the hole was open and bigger than ever. There was also a Latte sized buldge in one part. She got real mad and started yelling at him. I don't know if she should yell at him, it really was me that started the whole thing. Anyway she's going to think of more permanent fixes (she used tape before). Really....permanent fixes? I don't think she realizes that once we've discovered something there is no way to keep it from us. I think she's starting to figure out that the cat room can never be a guest room because the "guests" would never get any sleep anyway.
