Um....this is very uncool. VERY uncool!
The Tall Man was at some "Eric" concert last night which meant that I had the Lap Lady to myself. It was heaven! I sat in her lap and purred while she ate her foods and then I got to follow her around and play with her lots. It was really nice to have her to myself. When she didn't want to play I knocked the trash can over right in front of her. Boy was she mad. Her fault though, I TOLD her I wanted to play. All and all it was a nice evening without the Tall Man.
BUT.........................
Just as we were about to get all snuggly with the Lap Lady she lifted me up and put me in the cat playroom. Then Latte. Then Chase. Then the door was shut. Then she opened it and put water & food in. I waited for a little while for the Lap Lady to come rescue me but she didn't!!
Sure there are lots of beds, a litter box, food & water, toys, and 2 other cats, but this place is like prison with the door shut! Chase decided to make a break for it around 2am and she came and let him out into the rest of the house but kept the snuggle room door closed so it was just her and the Tall Man.
This morning I started at the door knob trying to get it open. I had enough and wanted out! Luckily the Lap Lady came and let me out at the usual work time. She picked me up, kissed me all over and said she was sorry. I purred. She said she was just so tired and we all wake them up at least 5 times during the night and they need their sleep. I purred some more. Then I wanted my breakfast so she fed me.
I really am afraid we're going to have to go in there at night now. She said they're going to try it for a week and see how it goes. I don't want to make them tired but I have to walk on their faces at night to make sure they're still breathing.

But I know what you mean about having your Lap Lady to yourself. Tonight is Tuesday which means that it'll be just me and Mom all evening til bedtime and I can play and snuggle and do whatever I want til Dad comes home.

Lady Kaze! I'm new to your site but feel compelled to speak. What indignation! What humiliation! To lock your lovely self with the boys when all you want it to show that you care!
TO Kaze's Momma, we've had to do that with our kitty, too! He loves to make me up at around 3 every morning, just to cuddle! ARGH! But isn't it great to be so loved by a cat?! I just wish I actually felt that way at 3AM! LOL
Oh, how awfull! That will not do at all. When she put you in there tonight, just start wailing and don't stop until she lets you out!
And if that does not work, you can come and live with us.
WAY UNCOOL!! If you need help making a break for us, let everyone know and we will all teleport there and help.
Yoo are so nice to take care of them to make sure they are alive in the nite.
I mean, yoo dont complain when thay wake yoo up in the day when thay turn on the peeple tv, run the suckur-upper mashene and make clankie noises at the dinnur table with the forks and plates!?!?!
