I LOVE the Lap Lady

I'm learning very quickly how to open the door to the snuggle room. I don't like it if the Lap Lady deviates from her usual schedule so I'm finding it necessary to attempt to open the door. I'll get there soon.

Besides my unending desire to be with the Lap Lady (really I only care about her and Latte, but she's best because she feeds me and snuggles me a lot) I'm starting to really dislike other people. After the Lap Lady left yesterday I heard dishes in the kitchen. That usually means its time to beg for some stinky goodness. So I went in expecting to see her so I was meowing and such. Then I saw it wasn't her, it was the Tall Man. I stopped and backed out of the room slowly. Then he FOLLOWED me!! I tried to hide in a corner but he wanted to pet me because he didn't want me scared of him. I wasn't scared- I was ashamed that I had begged to HIM. I mean, he's my arch enemy for affection from the Lap Lady.

Oh, and the Lap Lady tried to dress me up for Skeezix's Halloween Party but my big ears just wouldn't fit.

Maybe you could work out somthin special wif the Tall Man. Maybe he could gives you special treats from him only an then you'd haf a good reason to be friends. You don't look furry happy in that hat!

Kaze, I know EXACTLY what you mean. The same thing happens with me and Dad. I always, ALWAYS peek into a room if I hear someone movin' around, to make for sure that it's Mom before I go in there.

Hmmm...don't think of it so much as begging, Kaze. Think of it as telling. You told him what you wanted, and he didn't obey you. He must be your unruly human pet, yes? Perhaps obedience training is what is needed for the Tall Man.

Oh, we have the same problem with Mr. Grabbers! He always wants to pick us up! We don't like to be picked up, except by our Mewomie. But he just won't leave us alone. Grrffff!

My Meowm follows me sometimes and tries to snuggle me. Sometimes I let her catch me, but I only let her snuggle me for a minute!
