Thunder & Lightening!

OK, so it doesn't bother me or Latte at all. BUT the Lap Lady and Chase just don't like it at all. Chase hides behind the door of the bathroom. He was even behind the big people litter box with water. I don't get it, usually nothing bothers him.

I use flashing lights and loud booms as motivation to play harder and longer! Latte and I were bite-tagging all night long! It was awesome. We'll probably be really tired today but it was worth it.

I've decided the Lap Lady does not give me my medicines fast enough in the morning. I've tried merrowing a lot, I've tried rubbing all over her legs. Today I tried purring really loudly. She is such a sucker for purring but it didn't work either. Hrumph! By the time I got the medicines I was STARVING to death. And then Latte wanted to eat them so I had to growl at him a lot.

Its so hard trying to train these people! I've tried to be patient but nothing seems to work. Do you guys have any tips to try to get my medicines faster?

Well, Kaze, you have a long road ahead of you as far as training goes. I've been training my family for 9 years...yes 9...and I'm still at it! Humans can be so slow sometimes.

Have you tried howling outside the bedroom door starting around 4:30AM? That would get the day started bright & early and give you a better chance of getting breakfast. I find this works for me.

training the people takes a long time. Did she have poodin's 'afore you and chase and latte? sometimes they need a LIFETIME of prior training. poking them in the eyes at 5am usually werks well for us.

Hmm...you make a good point. She didn't have cats very much before Chase. But she is really willing and I think she has the ability to be trained well.

Now, do you reward a human when they are good, or do you just punish them when they're bad?

I wonder if they ever think they have control of us....ha, wouldn't that be a hoot!

I think you might want to check out this post that I wrote awhile back. It might help you, Kaze.

Thanks Zeus! You are really smart, I'm glad you can try and help me out. I'll try the method tonight!

Well see, the Lap Lady calls it medicine but it just tastes like food to me! (I think she mixes some of the medicines into my food). Without the stinky goodness I don't like medicine at all!

Yes, training the humans is furry hard indeed. That's good that you am not scared of the boomers. You like your medicine too? That's funny acoz I liked mine amoxicillin pink stuff in the eye dropper. I licked it all up and then wanted more! Mine Mom thought I was furry strange for doin' that.

My mama loovves thunderstorms. She says that they put her to sleep when they come in the evening, or she wants to nap when they come in the daytime. She thinks they are good sleep medicine!

I don't mind medicine much either - I had to take pills a couple years back and my owner was suprised how good I was at it.

Thunderstorms aren't so bad...at least compared to it being about ten bajillion degrees! I'm suprised the news guy isn't talking about finding melted cats in the places without air conditioning!!
