I had been playing with my short stumpy wand toy since grandma broke it. The Tall Man noticed I wasn't doing my acrobatics as per my usual zeal so he told the Lap Lady it was time to bring out a new one.
I can't even explain my elation when I saw the fresh ribbons, untouched grass (or straw, can't tell which), and straight as an arrow handle (after time they get bowed). I jumped, I leaped, I pounced, I flew through the air! Suddenly, the wand toy spun in a tight circle! I was on it!! Then, the other direction! I was still there!
Then...the oddest thing happened. I tried to walk away to lie down for a minute and my hind end went one way, my front end went another, and then I was on the ground. I fell over! I was so dizzy my hind end thought it was disconnected from me. No amount of tail swishing could bring my body back to alignment so I had to sit down for a few minutes.
OK, so here's an OLD video of me playing with my toy. I was still quite young...probably 8 months old and I'm not falling over and stuff but at least you can see my toy! (look to the post below for the video)
Sadly, this process repeated itself. From the spinning wand, to my butt on the floor and my perplexed gaze. And yes, the People were laughing hysterically. Something about the funniest thing they'd ever seen.
Whatever...all I care about is my new wand toy!
