Besides the Lap Lady Latte is the bestest to sleep with. I love to snuggle in the Millie Bed and tuck my head under him to stay nice and warm. He even gives me a bath now and then. He's quite tolerant of my kicking and grunting and my poots. Its true...sometimes I poot but not often!!! Certainly not when Latte steals my stinky goodness in the morning!
I know that Chase likes to say I don't pay attention to my choice of sleeping spots but that is not so! When I want to sleep I take many environmental factors into consideration. I figured I'd share them with you to prove that I'm actually quite thoughtful AND smart.
1. Is there another cat/human that I can suck heat from?
2. Is there something soft and comfortable to lie on/in?
3. How long will the spot last? Chase tends to get up quickly.
4. Is there a heating vent nearby?
5. How about coverage, can I completely burrow?
Taking all of these parameters into mind I decided last night to snuggle in the triangle that the Lap lady creates with her leg sometimes when she's sleeping under the covers. I circled in, snuggled up, and even licked her thigh to tell her it was a perfect spot. Of course I eventually needed to BREATH so I came up and put my head on her pillow and slept there. And as usual, my purring got me kicked out because I'm so loud.
I hope this proves that I am actually very discerning about my sleeping spots.
Last night while I was yelling for my stinky goodness the Lap Lady stepped on my delicate little paw. I screamed SO loud and so pittifully that the neighbors must have heard me. It was completely the Lap Lady's fault because she was rushing around trying to get her dinner made. She apologized and the ouchy went away very quickly.
Oh, and then Latte tried to steal my snuggling spot AGAIN! We ended up huggin each other with our faces smooshed together in the Lap Lady's lap. She though we were very cute but couldn't move to get the camera.
My breeder sent the Lap Lady a message today checking on me. Its very nice of her to check in and ask how I'm doing. She updated her website and you can see my mama kitty (Lexi) and my pretty sister from another litter, Ennui listed under dams. Moncoeur Cattery.
Look what I just found!! Its my daddy. He was the CFA's 4th Best cat for 2002-2003. I'd never seen a picture of him before.GC,NW Y-Not Jumpin' Jack Flash of Skatts is the 4th one.
