New Couch

The Lap Lady left early this morning wearing all black. She said she is going to be there for our Auntie E who's grandfather just passed away. The Lap Lady kissed me and told me how much she loves me and how much she will miss me.

While the couch was on its way to the house today I slept on the Lap Lady's lap and took a nice nap. I rested my head on her wrist and sighed deeply. I love spending time with the Lap Lady during the day. The sun was shining and and her lap was really warm. I didn't want to move but then Latte jumped up and broke up the party. He just snuggled in but it wasn't as nice as when we were alone. Then suddenly the door bell rang and all three of us were scooped up (at once!) and placed in the cat room. There were lots of loud noises and men talking and when we went downstairs....there were these HUGE new brown pieces of cat furniture! I love it, you can bounce on it and the best part is there is a chute behind it so we can run all around!
