Frootbat Friday
Last night I was checking out the stove because it was warloum. Latte joined me and we were enjoying the warmth when the LL came in and said really loud (and my ears are big so very loud is VERY LOUD!) "GET DOWN YOU IDIOTS!". Yes, she called us idiots. However her loud yelling did startle us so we got down. I could not let her have the last word so I went back alone. I looked her in the eye as she said my name in that warning tone. I merfed loudly as I jumped down. See how I did that? I had the last word. That means she didn't win. Never let them win, they aren't smart enough to win anyway.

Well, your LL certainly didn't have to call you idiots. Us cats are very smart creatures, even when it doesn't appear that we are.
However, please be careful around that stove thing...I have heard that is can singe the fur and skin right off of a cat.

I've never been on the warm stove. I do like it when the oven door is opened just a hair--then I get that warmth as it cools down.
I mean, I'm not in the oven but on the stove where the heat leaks out...
Your Mom shouldn't have called you idiots, but the stove is a very dangerous place to be. You can burn your paws really badly. Having the last word is good, though.

Note from JMC's mom - That's right about name calling, but stoves can be very dangerous and LL was only looking out for them.
I hope my stoopid brofur din't start sumthing wif his trip up on da stove top. It wasn't rite fur yoor mom to call yoo idiots, but she's rite about da stove. I jumped up der once when da burners were just warm and burned my tozies. Mom puts up a "blockade" after she is done with the stove now until it is all cool, just in case.
Kaze, I am soooo with you! I always make sure to protest and get my last word in when mommy doesn't allow me to do anything I want!

Well, you aren't an idiot and neither is Latte, but getting up on the stove is not a recommended method of getting warm, because more often than not you would get a lot more than warm, like burnt! So take care, k? xxx

i just let out the HIGHEST merf! I cannot BELIEVE your human had the NERVE to say that to you! To either of you! Yes, the stove gets hot but you are a meezer and NOT stupid! I am so glad you had the last word.
My human is too scared of me to tell me off. if she sees me near the oven, she rushes over and says ' no no Yao-Lin, hot-burnies-ouch!'. I just laugh at her for talking like a gibbering idiot.

well, i can see her yelling cause she was scared you'd get hurt (beans forget we hear just fine without yelling) but "idiots" was unnecessary. you should get a treat for that as an apology. i really like that you went back and got the last word!
