Thursday Thirteen #30

Thirteen Things that I did for the 4th of July

1. Ran around like my butt was on fire because it was really cool outside and I wanted to PLAY!

2. Talked LOUD and a lot when I noticed little people walk into the house. I used my deep voice to show them that I was not afraid.

3. The "guests" tried to tell me I was not allowed on the table. Hahahaha! The Lap Lady promptly told them that I certainly am allowed anywhere I want to be. (Have I mentioned she's a good Lap Lady?)

4. Let the little humans touch me. I figured I'd better be friendly as Latte was behind the couch. They were very gentle and if I didn't want to be touched they left me alone.

5. PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't realize little people have such a great use- toy slaves! And they even think its fun.

6. Sniffed Latte when he came back from the Pet Pageant. (He smelled like woofies!)

7. PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With Grandma this time, she is really good to play with.

8. Snuggled in the Lap Lady's lap for a few minutes while I stopped in to the 4th of July Party which I really wished I could spend more time at.

9. Wondered where the heck the Lap Lady and Tall Man really thought they were going to find an attracktive "going out" shirt for the Tall Man. I tried to lend a hand with my great sense of style but he wasn't listening. He has no fun clothes and expects the LL to fix that for him.

10. Played with the candy from the parade and the pinata that the Lap Lady broke open at her bachlorette party last night.

11. Napped in the sunny window with Latte in between human visists.

12. Hissed. That's right, I am a little ashamed to admit that I hissed a few times at the little people. I did not want to hurt them I just wanted a little space. I have not hissed since my first week here a year ago.

13. While it was an interesting day I was informed that I have to go to the VET this morning for my yearly exam. Not fun.

It sounds like you had a very busy day, Kaze! It's okay that you hissed - my humans say that sometimes the small, sticky people don't know when to leave cats alone. My humans have never heard me hiss, though.

Such a wonderful day and they have to spoil it with telling you about the vet!
Hissing is very appropriate cat communication! I hissed at the butler yesterday because he forgot to put the fresh food out!

we have one of those little people too. We call him our 2-legged kitten (actually Skeezix did first) He's ok sometimes. But other times we run and hide.

We'll be thinking bout you at the vet!

Kaze, you were a busy cat yesterday. Sounds like you had lots of fun though. We are glad to find out that little beans are good for something.

Kaze, I exhausted just reading about your busy day!

I've never met any little people, but I don't think I'd let them touch me. I don't let big people I don't know touch me.
