Thursday Thirteen #18
Thirteen Things outside the side window!
1. Birdies! They hang out in the holly trees on the property line.
2. Squirrels! They torture us outside the window. I swear, they stand up on their hind legs and chitter at us.
3. The neighbor's tiny little dog. I hate Cookie. Loath....
4. The grey machine drives past as it goes down the driveway. That is how I know to go wait at the back door for the Lap Lady to come inside.
5. The mail man. he walks from the neighbor's door right to ours.
6. The meter readers who check the neighbor's meters. I like the Water Man, not the PSE&G man (gas & electric).
7. Strange cats like to hang out under our front porch. We have this one cat who doesn't have a tail. He likes to hang out under the grey machine sometimes when it isn't in the garage.
8. The Lap Lady & Tall Man along with trash barrels. They drag the trash can past the window. They used to roll it but the trash men broke off the wheels (really, the Lap Lady watched them!).
9. The snow throwing machine when its all white outside. The Tall Man works it but usually right outside the window the Lap Lady has to use the shovel because there are two narrow strips of cement that the grey machine drives on.
10. The cat stroller when Latte & Chase go for a stroll. I don't like strolling but I like watching where they are going.
11. Its rare, but sometimes the mythical Black Machine leaves the driveway and the Tall Man goes for a drive. This is REALLY rare.
12. The long green snake thing. It attaches to the house under the window and then it moves around and sprays water! Usually at the grey machine. If I were they grey machine I would put the bitey on the green snake!
13. At night you can watch the neighbors in their kitchen. If the window is open you can smell the stinky smoke from the neighbor man. It is yucky and we always close the window when that happens.

Wow, you can see lots of interesting things out your window, Kaze! :) Very cool! :) I like to watch birdies out our windows, and I have a special chirping sound I make when I see them.
You sure do have lots and lots of interesting things to watch! I like to watch birds and lizards out of my windows.
The green snake sounds very scary!
wow, we can't see out the front window, only the back slidy door. we doesn't haf nearly that many fings out there
I love looking out our front window. But we don't have any squirrels, they sound neat!

We have NEVER even heard of number 9! Mom told us that one year (like 1989), the people in Northern Florida had a white Christmas. No body knew how to drive in the snow and ice. The Police had to let one car at a time go over the bridge!
Wow. Yoo shur see way diffrint things owtside yer window than I do!
That was fascinating, Kaze, I didn't know you had so much going on outside of your house. You look like you're on high alert, girl.
You see lots of stuff from your window. I am gonna have to teleport over and visit.
What is the mythical black machine?
Wow, yoo gots stuff out side yoor window like we do. 'Cept here da masheens is gold, white and blue.
The Black Machine lives in the garage and only comes out when there is no rain or anything to get it dirty. The Tall Man keeps it looking perfect and brand new. It isn't even fancy, its a 2004 VW Golf TDI (diesel) but it has maybe 1,000 miles on it.
Kaze
Tee hee. You see lots of cool things out your winders!!! Da skwirels torment us too. Bothersome skwirels. Dey sit on top of owr cage an chitter at us.

You have a furry exciting house. An excellent TV and entertainment center!
LOKi
Wow! What an active place you live in! It must be exciting to sit by the window and see all the beans and animals going past! :)
Kate & Puddy
We don't like da man in brown shorts - his brown machine is furry loud, and he rings da doorbell, which is also loud. We also have these dudes who show up once a month who play in da yard. They gots big loud toys that make da leaves blow around. The yard always looks different somehow once they're gone - and it smells different too.
I don't have a side yard cat TV like you. Instead I love to go outside and sleep in the sun in the side yard garden. I know you don't like the outdoors, but I love it and hate to be cooped up. I'm glad that I have my slaves (okay, mom and dad) to let me in and out all the time.
Squirrels torment you whether you're inside or out. I used to chase them when I was younger, but I don't even bother anymore.
~Jake
I hate squirrels! They're very rude! I chase them up trees!
You look so majestic in this picture. Your line is lean and strong. I also like the things you see outside. This is a good idea for a list.
You and my Pooh Bear can exchange window notes sometime. He LOVEs watching the birds. Do you chirp at them too?
You've got wots of intewesting things fwom your window!
