Meezer Tuffet

This is our Meezer Tuffet. Latte likes to sit here a lot but as you can see it easily fits the two of us.

Yesterday I got some bonus Lap Lady time! We had a horrible Nor' Easter here in NJ and the Acting Governor (our Governor can't figure out how to wear a seat belt...) declared a State of Emergency. On Sunday our roof started leaking a lot....then Monday morning our basement was half filled with 2" of water. The Tall Man spent 3 hours with the Shop Vac while the Lap Lady picked up ruined things and put them on the curb. The LL & TM are very very tired and still have to go to this Builders Show tomorrow for the rest of the week.

What happened to your Governor??? That is a very nice tuffet!!! And we are so sorry to hear of the damage your house sustained in the storms. It was bad down here, but not that bad...We'll have our turn come June when it's hurricaine season again...

I love your Meezer tuffet. Is that the new couch that Chase was blogging about? It looks very comfy. I'm sorry about your basement and the ruined things. I hope nothing very special got ruined.

I am sorry about the water in your basement. One time a pipe burst in our house and water got everywhere. It was a bad disaster and many things got ruined. I can imagine that this was very very bad timing with the Builders Show coming up.

I like your tuffet. It looks perfect for lounging on.

I hope your LL and TM can get some rest before they have to leave. I'm sorry about the damage. My Auntie Erika lives on the coast in Southern Maine and she said it was bad there, too. It doesn't sound as bad as you go though. Give your beans lots of love before they have to leave.

Nice and comfy couch, I'll be right over to cuddle with all of you.

What a great couch, you both look lovely on it.

Sorry about the basement, but it sounds like you made the best of it!

That tuffet looks super comfy. Sorry to hear about the leaky roof and watery basement. Did you supervise the clean up? Hope your people got some rest before they had to go to the show.

We heard about the flooding in NJ and we immediately said: LATTE! KAZE! CHASE! We hope they are all okay. It sounds like you did get some flooding though.

Stay dry you guys. That's awful.

ah, so the Governor wasn't wearing his seat belt? Shame shame shame. At least he ended up in a great hospital. Cooper Medical Center in Camden is where our mommy's daddy hadded his lung cancer surgery AND his quadruple by-pass surgery. Her dadded werkded in Camden for many years, and so did our mommy when she was a younger bean.

Your couch matches you furry nicely!

I think your Lap Lady and the Tall Man bought that new furniture just for you guys!

I am glad the basement got cleaned up, but am sorry it got flooded in the first place.

yeah, we have a tuffet kinda like that. but we do not share it. It is either him... or me. mostly him because i know some better spots (like under the couch, there is a heatvent under there, oh wow it is heaven)

Basement flooding?! Oh how awful.
how absolutely annoying. and that shop vac is soooo loud. You must have had a huge headache from that.
I hope the LL and TM's favorite stuff was not ruined!

That is too bad about your gov. Seetbelts aren't that hard. maybe his car didn't have any :-P
