Things I do to keep warm

Generally I get pretty cold pretty easily. My favorite way to get warm is to sap the warmth from the Lap Lady or one of the other cats or both. Chase is really warm but he doesn't always like to snuggle with me because he knows I'm sapping his warmth. As you can see here, he was so passed out he didn't really care that we were both sitting on top of him.

You will notice our bed is strategically placed in front of a heater vent. Good Lap Lady. This placement assures me that I am in the warmest spot in the house (sometimes the Lap Lady sits there when she is cold). There are other heating vents around the house too. I visit them frequently whenever I feel a little chill.

Mom keeps it so chilly in here that sometimes we create a kitty pile to keep warm, but most often I just burrow under a blanket. That way I'm warm and I have peace & quiet too.

Yup, the heaty vents are furry nice. There is one in the floor right by the big windows that go to the floor. Then I can sit on it, stay warm and watch the birdies outside.

Chase and Latte look nice and warm with you. We refuse to snuggle like that.

P.S. Fireplaces are nice, warm places, but Dad hasn't made a fire for me yet this season.

You guys look so cute! Mom gets cold a lot so she keeps the heat on so high she gasps when she gets what she calls a "bill," but I can't stand it when the air comes out the vent and hits my ears. It makes me jump and shake my head; I just don't like it! But my sisters each pick out their own vent and sit on it.
