I can fit ANYWHERE

As you all well know I'm a very long, very skinny cat. Because of my size I can pretty much force my body into any crevice. Sometimes when the people snuggle on the couch there really isn't any room for me to sit in the Lap Lady's lap. That makes me confused as the lap should always be available to me. Last night there was a small crevice where her knees were up and her arm was drapped across. I started by purring at her- that got me petting. Then I lay down across her hip- that made her laugh and pet me some more. Seeing my opportunity arise, I let my back end kind of squirm down to where I knew her lap was hiding. I was right, it was there and all it took was a little adjusting. It was warm and cozy and it didn't bother me at all that it was such tight quarters. I got lots of petting and of course, I purred a lot.

To end the evening right I fell asleep in the Lap Lady's arms. She just kept staring at me. I know because I would open an eye, see her looking at me, start to purr at her, and she'd give me a kiss. It was nice, I like being held and snuggled.
