Lots of Love

The Lap Lady thought I was going through affection withdrawl so I got lots of lap time and petting last night. Even the Tall Man (who doesn't like me) was petting me because the Lap Lady said I needed to know he likes me. Its not my fault I have lots of pride and don't like to admit I want love from people other than the Lap Lady. She knows I need lots of affection so she always calls me over and I PURRRRR for her. Plus, I don't like sharing my snuggle time with the Tall Man. She's MY Lap Lady.

Chase has been picking on me lately. The people say he's just trying to play 'cause of the chirpy noises he makes but he's BIG and I get scared of him. It doesn't stop me from attacking his head and then running away though. I growl and hiss at him when he hunts me down but he doesn't back off. The people think this is good because I'll learn some "humility". I don't know what that is. Apparently I'm figuring out the "pecking order" but I don't see any chickens around.

Ah yes, the chickenless pecking order. We have that going on at our house too. And it includes the humans too! I didn't think I'd like Catzee at first, but it's been a lot of fun thundering around the place after each other to establish our pecking order.

Too bad there's no chickens around. Chickens are tasty. Specially when they're broasted. Good luck with Chase :)
