Frootbat Friday

It was 80 degrees here yesterday!  The windows were open and he Lap Lady left work early to go ride Snap.  I think it did the LL a lot of good because she was MUCH happier when she got back from the barn.  She was friendly and happy and I haven't seen her happy in like weeks.  She claims its because after 6 months she could finally give Snap a bath.  Snap likes to roll around in the mud a lot.  In the winter her long furs get really caked in mud and no matter how much the Lap Lady brushes her she still stays dirty.  Now Snap is soft and fresh!  I can't believe she lets herself be hosed down....I mean a bath is terrifying enough but to be hosed off?!!!  I don't understand horses.

I bet it felt good to Snap to get a bath. Imagine if we couldn't clean ourselves for 6 months! EEEKKK!!!

You look lovely there, Kaze. :) Our weekly baths are bad enough - we don't think we'd like being hosed off. Yay on the warm weather! Our windows are open, for a least a short period, every day, even in the winter, because most Germans homes are made of concrete, and need to be aired out daily.

We've presented you with an award!

Horses should find a way to bathe themselves like we do - the the LL wouldn't have to worry about it!

Lovely froot bat ears, Kaze. I don't get horses either. I hate baths.

I think horses don't groom themselves like we do. I wonder who hoses down the wild ones????
About humans: same here - all winter the staff is grumpy - and then, during lizard season all of a sudden they are in a good mood.
I wonder if they secretly hunt lizards tooo...??

Don't you look pretty today, Kaze! No, we do not care for baths. We've learned to accept that some creatures do, though. For instance, Mom takes one everyday! Everyday!!!

Horses might be a little bit crazy to enjoy being hosed down like that!

I don't know much about horses either, although I saw one with a rider go past our place when I was a leash once! I'm glad it's so warm there and you can smell outside ...

Pretty picture, Kaze ...

I wonder if Snap rolled in the dirt again, after your LL left? I know dogs do it because they don't like to be clean. I wonder if horses do that, too?
