Thursday Thirteen #52!

I did it! I did a year of Thursday Thirteens! Now I have to decide which of my brothers gets the right to carry our torch....Who do you think should get our TT? Latte or Chase? (You can vote on the poll to the left if you'd prefer)

Thirteen Things about my very abnormal week.

1. Gamma was here every day! I love Gamma and she's been assimilated into our family as Latte and I curl up on her lap and sleep.

2. The Lap Lady yakked more than I've ever even known humans could yak! I think she may have yakked up a lung. No matter, Latte and I played Thundering Herd of Elephants to keep her entertained.

3. Warm fleece blankets draped over the LL and with her foot in the air there was a perfect snuggle spot on her belly. Which Latte and I violently fought over. Plus she was pretty squirmy so maybe not so perfect?

4. NO STINKY GOODNESS. I'm just aghasted. None. Stupid Tall Man.

5. I got lots of wand toy time as it seemed to entertain the LL while she was on the couch. I had to drag it over to her but that was OK.

6. While the LL said I am the worst nurse possible I do not understand what that means.

7. I know lots of friends drink from glasses of water but we don't usually have them around. We did last week! Its fun to slurp and splash a bean who has had about an hour total of sleep in 48 hours.

8. Watching beans do crafts is VERY entertaining. The LL was very interested in this glue and paint stuff and I couldn't take my eyes off of her hands! And no, I didn't try to steal anything (for once).

9. Surgical boots are not soft. Or friendly. In fact they hurt if you get in their path.

10. Latte is such a little phoney. He claims not to like beans but he snuggled with the LL and Gramma constantly.

11. Chase was nowhere to be seen. He wouldn't even be in the same room as the LL. Something about her disgusting him with her weakness. We didn't play too much because I wanted to be with her since she was really snuggly.

12. Beans are stinky when they don't bathe for days. I mean, even for me to groom her....just too stinky. Thank goodness she is clean now!

13. Gamma is a much better litterbox attendant than the LL. She can't stand a stinky poo so she cleans it immediately. She also picks up yak much nicer (she asks if you are OK instead of saying your name in a frustrated tone).

Congratulations on your 52nd T13! That is awesome!

#4 is very disturbing. But Daddy is the same way - he says stinky goodness is just too stinky. *rolling eyes*

We like #13, too. Maybe you could send her over to our house when she's done there? hee hee

Happy Thursday!
Love,
Tazo

The poor Lap Lady! I hope she is doing better now. I'm glad I wasn't around when my mom had her foot surgery - she couldn't bathe for two weeks because she couldn't get the stitches wet, so she could only do "sponge baths" and wash her hair in the sink. Yuck.

I think Latte should get the TT torch. As you know, my mom has a soft spot for Meezers, and my soon-to-be little brother is a Seal Point.

OMD, I haven't visited for a couple of days and had no idea your poor LL was in such a bad way. What sort of pain meds do you have in Mericky? I've never yakked with pain meds (though I come out in mega rashes and swellings if I take aspirin or ibuprofen, so have to stick to paracetamol & codeine. Poor, poor LL - I hope she's feeling a lot better now. Tell her not to go hunting for green papers until she's well enough:) xxx

Your Gamma sounds a lot like mine, she's a much better litterbox attendant, my son has it good. She also is much more likely to slip you treats then Momma. I vote Chase for T13 for next year. Hehe make him it do it, its hard to come up with things sometimes and I just started. ~Queen Snickers

It is nice to have a good litter box attendant. Josie likes to play in the glasses of water, but she tends to spill them. And watch out for that boot! (Hope your LL is doing better real soon...)

While I am upset about the lack of stinky goodness, I must say I approve of Gramma and her consideration. My mommy also asks us if we are ok when we yak and when we have an outside-of-the-litterbox issue.

Kaze, the TM won't give you Stinky Goodness??? This is wrong, just wrong! But now that I think of it, my Daddy really hates feeding us SG too, it's usually Mommy who does it...

Da Tall Man didn't gives no stinky goodness!!!
Dat is just shocking. I say put a stinky in his shoe.

You sure had an interesting week, Kaze! I am not sure how to answer about passing on the T13. Every week I am challenged to come up with a good subject, so I keep thinking I am going to stop it. But I never do!

Your Gamma sounds like a very nice lady :-) I'm glad she was there for you, and the LL.

I do think the Tall Man is owed some kind of payback for not feeding you stinky goodness all week. Maybe you could play thundering herd of elephants over his body in the middle of the night?

Congratulations on a full year of T13s. That quite and accomplishment. Our mom hasn't done our first one yet. Glad to hear that the LL is feeling better.

My mom could learn something from your Gamma in terms of attending my litterbox, as well as sympathy when you yak..she just says "EEEwwwww, Angus!"
