Thursday Thirteen #51

Thirteen Things I will have to do for the Lap Lady this weekend

1. Snuggle and purr a lot. I've been resting my purrer getting ready to help heal her claw on her hind paw. I keep telling her that when my claws are clipped it doesn't hurt but she says they are going to go in and cut her little toe bone. Ow.

2. I'll have to not play "I'm Going to KILL you!!!" with Chase all day long and running over the couch. 'Cause the LL will be on the couch. And we might hurt her paw. Plus our growls and screeches (all in play) get her frustrated.

3. I'm sure I'll have to be nice and share her with Latte. She likes when we both nap on her so I guess I'll have to not whap him when he tries to snuggle.

4. I'm not sure what little gifties I'm going to bring her but I'll guarantee there will be some nice tid-bits that the Tall Man leaves around.

5. Entertaining her is going to be another important task. I'll have to get the Tall Man to swing the Whirly-bird so Latte and I can practice our leaping skills.

6. Looking cute for picture time may be a problem as her foot is going to be in the air and she won't be moving all that much. We'll have to be really still and really close to her an the camera can't "glich".

7. We're going to have some serious discussions on blogging. We want to talk about doing some more fun stuff and maybe change our layouts, etc.

8. Its a hard job but alerting her that books are EVIL and make beans BLIND is something I've been working on and winning. I get in between her and the evil thing so she has to put it down.

9. I'd say I have to get the mail and the newspaper but you all know how I hate Out of Doors AND snow.

10. I can't be too demanding of the Tall Man feeding us. I also can't expect much. He says no stinky goodness. I say he stinks.

11. I'll be the official taste tester for the LL when she gets chick-hen soup and milk and pudding. You never know if the TM is trying to poison her.

12. The heat box is going to be far away from her so I'm going to have to take trips when it starts to blow and bring her back some warm air.

13. She has some "crafts" lined up (ornament making and knitting) and I know helping her is going to be VERY time consuming yet very important!

Kaze, it sounds like you've got your paws full this weekend. I agree with #10. Daddy won't give us stinky goodness because he says it stinks. Um, yeah, that's why it's good. Maybe it's a man thing. Oh, and I definitely think that LL will appreciate you helping her with her knitting. :)

Love,
Tazo

Kaze, I know you are going to take good care of the Lap Lady. :) I hope all goes well with her foot surgery. My mom had surgery on her foot years ago, before I was around, and I know she would have healed more quickly if I had been there to purr for her. I will send healing purrs out to the Lap Lady.

Knitting sounds like fun. I mean all that yarn to attack. Remember to purr at her foot alot because bones heal at the same frequency as our purrs.

LL is so lucky to have you around to help her out. I'm with you on the books are evil campaign. I hate when my mom reads and doesn't pet me.

Good luck LL with your paw surgery. Sending you healing purrs!

I think being the official taste tester is a very serious and important job you are taking on! My Daddie had a surgery on his foot on Monday, and I am trying to help him get better too. He had an osteotomy on his heel and an achilles tendon repair and he has to keep his foot elevated for a whole week! Then he will get a cast. Then he will get a walking boot.

Taste tester - I'd be good at that!

No stinky goodness??? That's cat abuse. LL needs to talk to TM and tell him all of you must get your daily stinky goodness.

Wow, you will be very busy but that is good work that you are doing, taking care of the Lap Lady. I would surely be glad to help you with any taste testing. I am the Official Taste Tester here - yes, I still like canned tomatoes!
