Thomas Tuesday

This is Thomas. He is a goose that lives at a local restaurant. The Lap Lady & the Tall Man ate outside since it was really nice and Spring-like outside. Thomas was very friendly and the Lap Lady took pictures for me. Thomas was very hungry and he gave the Lap Lady those begging eyes. He made the LL feel so guilty she fed him some of her bread. But Thomas didn't stop with that, he wanted more. He came over to the LL and ate bread right out of her hand!! I would have been terrified but she was brave and said he didn't want to touch her fingers, just eat her bread.

Thomas was a gentleman goose then. Mommy and the kidbeans use to go to the zoo in Tulsa every week when they lived there. There was a beautiful pond with lots of Geese and Ducks, etc. Around the pond were also a lot of empty picnic tables. Mommy found out the hard way why no one ever sat there for their lunch. They were chased away once because the geese were so over zealous and not only surrounded them but pecked at the babies, too. After that they ate at the tables across the park!

PS In Minnesota, they put Swans in the lakes to keep away the geese!

Oh Kaze! Geese scare me. They make such a big noise that I have to hiss at them!

That's a Canada goose! Geese can be vishus - they will hiss at you if they don't like you!

We got LOTSA them birds here. I don't know if they's vishus, but they's noisy.
I herd that in Janesville, WI the city hired a woofie that was speshully trained to chase the gooses outa the parks. If he chased them away efurry day, then once a week, they'd stop hangin round there leafin "gifts".
Shouldn't take much trainin to get a dog to chase gooses, I fink.

Thomas looks nice. My Mom would have fed him too, she's a sucker. At least he didn't chomp her fingers!

Thomas would've askeered our Momma. She's really askeered of birds. I'm glad that he was a nice bird.

Oh my goodness, I have seen those geese here too. Also I have ducks that keep sitting on the pool, which is where I do not swim but I like to look at the water. I know that I would be afraid of Thomas, even if he is nice...

I hope he was nice, mum says them goosey things can get nasty at times. There were two at work fighting yesterday, she was careful as she walked between them to get into the building.

Hoo boy we have those goose things down the hill from where I live. The people who live there get furry angry at the geese becuase they poop on their lawns and sidewalks...and reportedly it's LOTS of messy poops! Someone should teach them to use a litter box...
