Cats can whimper too!
The people got home late last night so I was really excited to see them when they came home. The Lap Lady feed me and gave me a nice big hug. But then she changed her clothes and went to that place she goes to walk in place and lift heavy objects. I'm not exactly sure why she goes there but she goes quite a bit.
After she walked out the front door I got all upset. I stood on the couch and screamed at the door for her. Then I started to whimper like a doggie. I took turns whimpering and crying at the door, the window, and at the Tall Man. He tried to pet me and that was nice but I wanted my Lap Lady. He felt really bad for me and told the Lap Lady what happened when she got back.
You can bet the Lap Lady gave me lots of love after hearing the story! I got tons of lap time and petting. I purred a lot, as ususal.
I'm really worried about the red boxes for this weekend. Chase says it is usually the weekends when the red boxes go away with the people but they come back pretty quickly. I'm really going to miss my Lap Lady! She said they are going to visit an important-little-rock, whatever that means. I just hope Auntie E knows how to do everything just right. I know the Lap Lady typed out two pages of instructions on exactly how to take care of us but I'm still worried!

Now, Kaze, tell that Lap Lady to put you in your stroller and take you along so you can at least be there and watch her! You only want a bit of one on one time with Meowm!

Maybe your Auntie E will tell the Lap Lady if you whimper and cry ALL weekend.. then you'll get super-duper extra love when she gets back!
Wow! You must really love your Lap Lady to whimper when she is gone! And now she is leaving with the red boxes?! How dare she!
Oh poor Kaze. We hope you will not be too lonely this weekend. Our Moewmie said you can come and visit us if it gets too lonely. We are not planning anything exciting, just a lot of snuggling, but you are welcome to join us.
Thanks everyone! I'm sure I'll want to visit with all of you! You're all welcome over to our house to since no one will be around. We've got PLENTY of nip!
Oh I hope it's not so bad that you whimper all weekend, Kaze. You can always come visit with us if you want.
mommy says that "the one who came before" used to whimper and cry when she lefted the house too.
We hope that they come home wif the red boxes soon!
