Ever seen one of these?

Neither have I. While they may look cute, I'm pretty sure they are related to vishus deer. The Lap Lady was talking about them last night. It seems there is a BIG one (she says he weighs 3x as much as Chase and he's heavy) that lives in the ceiling of where our horsie lives. He likes to walk around at night and he even falls through into the office at least once a year causing a horrible mess. The kitties who live at the barn are scared of Mr. Raccoon as he is always stealing their food and chittering at them. They must be the bravest kitties EVER to live near that creature.

It turns out that these creatures immitate cats! They can purr!! Isn't that just a horrible thought that such a vishus attack creature could try and sound like a happy cat? I shudder at the thought! They also have little "hands" instead of paws so they can open doors and could probably even open cat food cans! They have beady little eyes and they like to climb trees. This particular vishus creature yells at the Lap Lady and the horsie when they ride outside. She can't see him but he yells at her to turn the lights off. If something scares the Lap Lady you can be certain it is very very vishus.

So be sure to add this creature to the list of evil attack animals that you should avoid at all costs!

That raccoon looks cute but at the same time scary! I haven't ever seen one in person, but my Meowma says she has....and they make her nervous. I'll be on the lookout for these possible vishus creatures.

I heard they can be dangerous to kitties. I am glad the ones who live outside stay away!

Oh my... I don't like that. Yelling at your lap lady?

And purring? That's just wrong. You can't purr-tend to be a cat when you're not. It's not fair.

Kaze, we have lots of theze creechurs! I see maybe 25 of them evry nite. They make many many diffrent kinds of sownds. Not just purring, but clikking and growling, and barking and a "tribbles" sownd (uzhually the babeys make that sownd), and I can heer them off in the forest making sqweeling sownds, wich I think is the sownd they make win they git eeten by the vishus deer. It's a bad sownd. I heer many coons gitting eeten by vishus deer evry nite. And the sownd scares the stripey skunks with the big tales, hoo make a bad smell win they heer the coons gitting eeten by vishus deer and the bad smell comes in the howse and we have to shut all the windows.

The owtside werld is a terrifying place. I'm glad I'm an inside cat!

We have those things. They come on our deck and raid the bird feeders. When we hear them we go to the window but when Mom turns on the outside light, they run away. Good. We don't want them on OUR deck!

We have these things around our area too. The outdoors kitties chase them and scare them off.

I've got 'em too and they're making a mess of my bowls out on the deck. They don't come around when I'm out there, but Dad said he saw two of them the other night.
