Hoarse

So I know Skeezix was talking about horses but today I'm actually hoarse. My usual very loud MRROW so now very quite like a mrr-ah this concerns the Lap Lady greatly. Of course the Tall Man noticed earlier and didn't say anything. I think he's jealous of me, I sleep right next to the Lap Lady and purr all night and he sleeps on the other side of the bed. Yup, he's jealous. But I digress...

I've been sneezing and coughing since they brought me home (along with a period of the horrible squirts). I also get lots of gunk in my eyes. The vet thinks I have kitty herpes and I was on l-lysine for a few weeks and an antibiotic. No dice, I'm still sick though the l-lysine seemed to help a bit. So Lap Lady went out and bought some more l-lysine (thanks to the friend who suggested the pill form its much easier on the Lap Lady's wallet).

I'm supposed to be SPRAYED next Tuesday and the vet man isn't sure he can do it if I'm still sick. So he's going to look at me that morning and decide if I can have the spraying. Again, this whole spraying thing sounds REALLY bad. I'm thinking even if I feel better I should fake sick?

OH, I forgot to tell you all that my stinky brudder Latte took a chunk out of my lovely fur. Its right on my side and there is a little dark spot where you can tell he put the bite on me and removed my fur. I'm plotting revenge but he's pretty wiley.

The Lap Lady says Spraying is when they remove my girlie organs and stitch me up. I don't think this sounds like fun at all!

Oh my! Has your V.E.T. done any blood tests? Usually a round or two of antibiotics will take care of things, but this may be more serious.
